To provide a TPM Tooling Service to support the ongoing needs of the Tooling & Manufacturing departments within Nifco UK Limited. The main purpose of the role being to undertake the TPM cleaning of Mould Tools work necessary to operate a world class manufacturing department.
Main Duties:
- Carry out TPM of existing mould tools.
- Location and movements of tools between production and tooling departments.
- Carry out TPM cleaning maintenance of production mould tools.
- Minor refurbishment and repair of mould tools with guidance from Toolmakers using bench work techniques.
- Support safety checks and improvement activities as required.
- Carry out TPM preventative maintenance according to schedule and documented procedure.
- Identify repairs with the objective of preventing re-occurrence and improving tool robustness.
- Log and maintain mould tool work records and complete necessary Tool room documentation.
- Support the improvement and maintenance of 5S standards within tooling department.
- TPM on tooling (level of tooling depending on experience).
- Prep of new tooling (de-crate clean off mould protector etc.).
- Complete quality related documentation and daily yellow card analysis to improve reliability.
- Complete standard operating procedure documentation.
- To carry out any other relevant duties as required by the business.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Desirable similar experience to the main duties required.
- Technical / Mechanical experience.
