This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales person who has prior experience generating new revenue from existing clients. The Commercial Business Partner combines an excellent knowledge of the FMCG industry and a deep understanding of NIQ products and services. You will be responsible for aligning key customer priorities and insights back to NIQ’s capabilities, identifying & converting opportunities to deepen commercial relationships and drive additional revenue for some of our largest and most strategically important clients.
You will be responsible for owning the commercial relationship with the clients, delivering on the revenue plans by negotiating the renewal of continuous services whilst identifying opportunities to meet growth targets. You will develop effective relationships between individuals and teams both internally and with clients, to provide best in class NIQ / client commercial partnerships. You'll devise a strategic approach for developing a group of clients through agile and flexible solutions that deliver value in a profitable way. We are looking for someone who is ready to drive positive change, be a good team member, challenge wider business processes and be fully driven by achieving success with the support of the wider industry team and practice areas.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong networking and engagement with key players in client networks.
- Understanding how to price NIQ's products and the processes we use.
- Ownership of a portfolio of clients worth around $12M per annum, responsible for renewals, incremental sales and relationship management for these clients, together with accurate and timely account planning.
- Responsible for internal financial discipline e.g., forecasting accuracy, ensuring the achievement of blocked, unbilled and AR targets and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
- Preparing prices, proposals and documentation for RFPs and pitch presentations.
- Work collaboratively with other teams within NIQ to maximise the client experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial role.
- A proven track record in Sales in FMCG.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience selling enterprise based solutions.
- A proven ability to generate business across a portfolio of existing clients.
- An understanding of the issues facing FMCG manufacturers and retailers.
- Understanding of data would be an advantage.
