NIQ's insight and consultancy helps to inform major decisions within our clients' businesses. The Data and Insights Analyst plays a key role in delivering market measurement and insight to the world's biggest drinks companies. This role involves building and maintaining great relationships with commercial teams by providing best-in-class customer service, insight, and deliverables, which is integral to identifying and creating further opportunities to broaden NIQ's revenue prospects and services.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring all validation of Weekly Deliverables is complete and delivered on time every time.
  • Proactively review NIQ's product suite and client deliverables to ensure they remain relevant, looking to enhance them where necessary.
  • First line support to analysts, problem-solving any and all technical production process issues, liaising with Development teams as needed.
  • Interpret and deconstruct client briefs to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Advise and provide guidance on methodologies, advanced analytics, and use of additional NIQ services where necessary.
  • Project manage client briefs and liaise with commercial stakeholders to ensure alignment on timescales, progress, and output.
  • Ensure Project Brief protocol is followed for all Projects including presentation structure/storyboard, setting regular milestones for review and feedback, ensuring brief is completed to expected level and timescale.
  • Quality check final output ensuring output is accurate, Client Ready, and brief relevant.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met – on time and correct.
  • Proactively think through how the Analytics department supports client teams.
  • Contact point for all standard data queries and brief requests from commercial teams.
  • Confidently present research findings and demonstrate market knowledge.
  • Communicate and advocate the features, benefits, and methodologies of NIQ services.
  • Confidently promote USPs of NIQ Analytical services vs competitor alternatives, demonstrating a clear understanding of how each of NIQ's services complement and work alongside each other.
  • Proactively share interesting trends or insights identified either in trade, in the press, or from wider NIQ work with the client.
  • Keep up to date with analytics methodologies and delivery platforms.
