For more information, please refer to the UK government website: About the job The Data Processing Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of CGA services by ensuring that harmonisation (matching) of data and classification of dictionaries is completed in line with CGA’s world-class standards. Each analyst is assigned to a specific CGA territory and practice area but works collaboratively within the Data Preparation team to maintain dictionaries accurately, sustain data integrity at a high standard, and meet delivery deadlines. Responsibilities Matching large and varied datasets into alignment with the definitive on-premise GB, IE & Food service dictionaries within the product. Ensuring the quality and accuracy of CGA services through harmonisation (matching) of data and classification of dictionaries according to CGA’s standards. Working within the territories of Great Britain, Ireland, and Food Service, collaborating with the Data Preparation team to maintain dictionaries. Completing daily QC processes on matched data. Working towards weekly and monthly delivery deadlines. Liaising with team members and other departments via Teams chat/calls, emails, and meetings. Requirements Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Effective communication skills for dialogue with colleagues. Responding to emails and queries promptly and professionally, escalating support when needed. Nice to have: Proficiency in another European language. Willingness to learn new skills. Good organizational skills.
