About this job: Join NielsenIQ\’s Strategic Analytics & Insights (SA&I) team as a Consumer Behaviour & Insights Practice Area Expert, where you\’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of understanding Consumer and Shopper Behaviour. Reporting to the Practice Area Leader, you\’ll drive exceptional client outcomes, achieve ambitious revenue goals, and elevate our market presence. You\’ll work closely with the Emerging Clients Commercial Team to bring technical solution expertise into whitespace opportunities, helping shape compelling proposals for clients we don’t yet partner with.

Your future responsibilities:

  • Drive Profitable Revenue Growth: Partner with the Emerging Clients Commercial Team to co-develop proposals that unlock whitespace opportunities with new clients
  • Bring technical solution expertise to early-stage client conversations, helping shape tailored, insight-led proposals
  • Support the expansion of our Consumer / Demand and Shopper solutions into new client segments
  • Enhance Client Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client challenges and aligning our solutions to meet their needs
  • Provide valuable insights during proposal development to accurately address client requirements
  • Deliver standout responses to RFIs/RFPs, showcasing our solutions\’ impact
  • Promote Product Awareness: Articulate the value of our products, highlighting their ability to tackle client-specific challenges
  • Create and share success stories and case studies to demonstrate our solutions\’ effectiveness
  • Stay informed about new features and capabilities, continuously refining your product knowledge
  • Foster Team Collaboration: Participate in global Subject Matter Expert communities to share best practices and stay aligned with organizational goals
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights and proposing solutions
  • Organize and engage in team routines, including bootcamps, workshops, and training sessions

Your profile: The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic commercial environment, building meaningful client relationships with a strategic mindset and operational rigor. They balance short-term goals with long-term growth strategies. Experience working in cross-functional teams to support new business development efforts is a plus, particularly in whitespace or emerging client contexts.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in consulting, analytics, or consumer research roles in consumer and shopper research (segmentation, landscaping, path to purchase etc.)
  • Strong business development skills and the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions.
  • Thought leadership skills, with experience in content creation and presenting at events or webinars.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and tools, with critical experience in proposal development.
  • English is a must, additional WEU language capabilities also an advantage
