We are partnered with a fast-growing, London-based technology scale up to identify their first permanent Chief Financial Officer. The business operates a B2B SaaS platform. With a loyal and growing customer base, strong retention metrics and an ambitious leadership team, the company is at an exciting inflection point in its growth journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the finance function, building it to match the pace and ambition of the business.
  • Support future fund raising and investor reporting.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital and month-end reporting.
  • Support the CEO and board with investor-facing materials and strategic financial analysis.
  • Drive process improvement and financial infrastructure — implementing the systems and controls needed to scale.
  • Play an active role in the senior leadership team.

The ideal candidate will be ACA /ACCA/CIMA qualified. You will be hands-on by nature, comfortable building as well as managing, and ready to step into a first CFO role. A high-energy, commercially minded individual who thrives in a lean, fast-moving environment. The role could suit a candidate with similar experience, alternatively a person who is looking for their first start-up journey.

Package: Low six figures plus equity. London, hybrid.
