  • Essential Criteria:
    • Proven experience and track record operating within a similar environment demonstrating your ability to meet the demands of this role, specifically in the following areas:
      • A fully qualified Distribution Overhead Linesperson with a minimum of two years' post-apprenticeship experience within the last 5 years, or a minimum of three consecutive years' working in a Linesperson role on the distribution overhead lines network.
      • A sound understanding of the Working at Heights Regulations (Northern Ireland) or equivalent legislation, particularly in relation to the use of Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWPs), ladders, scaffolding and pole climbing.
      • Demonstrated ability to positively influence safety behaviours and to establish and maintain strong safety values in the workplace.
      • Hold, or have previously held authorisation within the last two years to receive Permits for Work.
      • Hold, or have previously held within the last two years Live LV authorisation.
      • Ability to use IT devices to retrieve and update work packs.
      • Willingness and ability to participate in an out-of-hours stand by rota.
      • Ability to read, understand and accurately update overhead line network diagrams and asset records.
      • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
    • Desirable Criteria:
      • An ONC / BTEC or equivalent qualification in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering.
      • Additional metering and Low Voltage (LV) jointing skills including experience with waveform joints.
