Role Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as a Transaction Ledger Leader. The Transaction Ledger Leader will be a Key Stakeholder in the Operations Finance team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable, Payments and Receipts for the UK Manufacturing site. This is a pivotal role that forms part of the Operations Finance Team and requires close interaction with all other departments, intercompany sites and suppliers.

Key Job Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Transaction Ledger Leader consist of but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the AP team lead, based in Oradea, to ensure the smooth running of daily AP & AR Operations through the Coordination and Supervision of day-to-day activities, ensuring adherence to Internal control, policies and procedures.
  • Regularly evaluates processes and resource allocation, adjusting for continuous improvement of efficiency.
  • Supports the AP team lead, based in Oradea, to develop objectives, KPIs & training plans for team members, providing support, coaching, and regular feedback of their achievements and performance.
  • Evaluates the needs of stakeholders, ensuring a close relationship and communication channel is maintained.
  • Analyses financial indicators, proposes & implements measures for continuous optimization.
  • Performs various analysis regarding activity evolution and reports to management as per request.
  • Creates and proposes development strategies and projects, in accordance with business planning and objectives.
  • Supports management team in different activities and projects.

Travel Requirements: Periodic travel to Romania when required.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Accounting qualifications such as AAT and/or qualified by experience
  • Experience in accounting
  • Experience in managing high volume accounts payable function
  • Experience working within a multinational company
  • Working knowledge and experience of Oracle ERP system
  • Ensures Accountability
  • Communicates Effectively
