Role Summary
Are you a proactive HR professional ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We're looking for an HR Advisor (initially on a 6-month fixed term contract) to join our team at Nidec Drives and support our UK people operations. This role will play a key part in providing comprehensive support to the company across all aspects of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, disciplinary, grievance processes, and more.
Key Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the HR Advisor consist of, but are not limited to:
- Be a strong point of contact for both managers and employees, providing accurate guidance in line with policy and employment legislation
- Manage employee relations casework, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and capability management
- Monitor, review, and update HR policies and processes to ensure these are in line with current legislation
- Maintain compliance with HR policies and legislation across all areas of the business
- Onboard new starters to encourage successful integration into the business
- Support the recruitment process by attending interviews for potential candidates
- Undertake project work to enhance the effectiveness of the HR team
