Nicor are recruiting a Plumber to work on Social Housing maintenance projects for a leading Construction Company in Belfast and around Northern Ireland. The office is based in Dundonald with a competitive salary and long-term contracts in place. Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, with overtime available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high-quality service to tenants, specifically within domestic properties that are either occupied or void.
- Ensure any additional work is captured and communicated to the relevant person, using the company PDA system for invoicing.
- Comply with timeframes allocated for jobs and ensure target dates are met.
- Maintain compliance with materials and workmanship schedules.
- Care for all company tools and use appropriate safety equipment.
- Ensure areas of work are left clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Be responsible for and take due care of the company van in accordance with the company car policy.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contract administrators, head office, etc.
- Be responsible for your own safety and the safety of others around you.
- Coordinate and organise materials.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of any relevant site-based documentation.
- Oversee and assist in the training of apprentices as required.
- Partake in on-call rota once every 8 weeks.
The Ideal Person:
- Level 3 NVQ in a relevant trade or equivalent.
- Previous trades experience in a similar role.
- Up-to-date relevant industry knowledge.
- Up-to-date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Current and valid full and clean UK driving licence.
- Valid CSR Card.
- Previous experience working within the Construction Industry.
- Ideally have experience working within the Social Housing sector.
