Are you looking for a joinery role? Interested in working for a leading Construction Company, working alongside our current construction team on a long term response maintenance contract. Nicor are recruiting a joinery operative to work on various Social Housing maintenance projects for a large, leading Construction Company in Belfast and around Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality service to tenants, specifically within domestic properties that are either occupied or void.
  • Ensure any additional work is captured and communicated to the relevant person, using the company PDA system for invoicing.
  • Compliant with timeframes allocated for jobs, ensuring target dates are met.
  • Compliance with materials/workmanship schedules.
  • Maintain and care for all company tools.
  • Use appropriate safety equipment.
  • Ensure areas of work are left clean, tidy and safe at all times.
  • Be responsible for and take due care of the company van in accordance with company policy.
  • Liaison with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office, etc.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ in a relevant trade or equivalent.
  • Previous trades experience in a similar role.
  • Up to date relevant industry knowledge.
  • Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Current and Valid Full & Clean UK driving license.
  • Valid CSR Card.
  • Ideally have experience working within the Social Housing sector.
