Our client is a rapidly growing and entrepreneurial international consumer business headquartered in West London. The PE backed business has developed into a true international brand and is a genuinely very exciting company to work for. They have established a senior management team in the UK and this role will be a very integral role for the business. They boast ambitious growth plans and require a qualified individual with technical strength, yet commercial mind-set to work in the dynamic environment.

This role will support the FD and COO in managing the control and reporting function, leading the day to day finance activity, but also being instrumental in strategy, working together in building and facilitating business success. Reporting into the FD, this will be a varied and fluid role, duties will include:

  • Establish controls and processes of finance function
  • Manage the month end close, liaise with auditors, tax compliance
  • FP&A and finance strategy
  • Focus on maintaining accounting policies and procedures
  • Financial reporting, inclusive of budgeting and forecasting
  • Balance sheet and cash flow analysis

Experience required:

  • Qualified Accountant, ACA practice trained with industry exposure
  • Technical strength
  • Progressive individual with strong academics
  • SME / PE experience is a major advantage

This will be an 'everything' type finance opportunity whereby you will have the gravitas to challenge at board level, whilst the ability of rolling your sleeves up and getting 'stuff done' too!
