Our client, a plc, is an established international consumer business headquartered near Epsom. They are a true international brand and a genuinely exciting company to work for. They have a senior management team in the UK, and this role will be integral to the business. They boast ambitious growth plans and require a qualified individual with technical strength and a commercial mindset to work in a dynamic environment.

This role will support the Senior FC and CFO in managing the control and reporting function, leading the day-to-day finance activity, and being instrumental in strategy, working together to build and facilitate business success. This will be a varied and fluid role, with duties including:

  • Establishing controls and processes of the finance function
  • Managing the month-end close, liaising with auditors, and ensuring tax compliance
  • FP&A and finance strategy
  • Focusing on maintaining accounting policies and procedures
  • Financial reporting, inclusive of budgeting and forecasting
  • Balance sheet and cash flow analysis
  • Ad hoc project work

Experience required:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Technical strength
  • Progressive individual with strong academics

This will be an 'everything' type finance opportunity whereby you will have the gravitas to challenge at senior level, whilst also having the ability to roll your sleeves up and get 'stuff done'!
