A leading financial services company is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their Regulatory Reporting IT team. The role focuses on delivering IT solutions for Capital Pillar 1 and Credential Reporting within the regulatory reporting function. This is a highly specialised position. Please review the requirements carefully before applying. The role requires a specific blend of technical proficiency and domain expertise. It is not suitable for a generalist BA. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience within the regulatory reporting function, particularly in relation to Capital Pillar 1, along with strong SQL capabilities and a solid understanding of database design.
Key Requirements
- Essential Technical Skills
- Proficient in SQL, including writing complex queries and performing data analysis
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database design
- Ability to collaborate with developers and architects to define and deliver technical solutions
- Direct experience in UK/EU Pillar 1 Prudential Regulatory Reporting (e.g. COREP Own Funds, Leverage Ratio, Large Exposures, FRTB, Bank of England Statistical Reporting)
- Familiarity with trading book asset classes such as interest rate derivatives, SFTs, bonds, credit derivatives, and equities
- Experience working within a Regulatory Reporting department or closely aligned IT function
