Employee Relations Director

Contract | Inside IR35 | c. Β£1,000 per day

A leading global organisation is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Director to join on an interim basis, providing strategic leadership across a broad range of complex and commercially sensitive employee relations matters.

This role requires an individual capable of delivering a true white-glove advisory service, partnering with executive leadership, HR leadership and key business stakeholders across a dynamic and highly visible global environment.

Responsibilities

-Provide strategic leadership across all employee relations activity.

-Advise senior executives and HR leadership on high-risk and business-critical people matters.

-Lead complex investigations, grievances, disciplinaries and executive-level cases.

-Develop and drive ER strategy, governance and best practice frameworks.

-Support large-scale organisational change, restructuring and transformation programmes.

-Assess, mitigate and manage employment-related business risk.

-Act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership teams on sensitive workforce issues.

-Ensure consistency of approach across multiple business units and geographies where applicable.

-Influence key business decisions through commercially focused people advice.

Requirements

-Proven experience operating at Director or Head of Employee Relations level.

-Extensive Employee Relations experience within large, complex organisations.

-Deep expertise in employment law and employment risk management.

-Demonstrated success handling highly sensitive and high-profile cases.

-Track record of partnering with executive and board-level stakeholders.

-Exceptional influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills.

-Strong commercial acumen and judgement.

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
