I am seeking a senior software developer to join a consultancy where you will be deployed onsite at a leading Pharma company. You will play a key role in designing and delivering innovative, value-driven software solutions that make a real impact. Ideally, you will have some experience in the Pharma industry.
In this role, you’ll work across the full software development lifecycle, experimenting with modern tools and technologies, and contributing to end-to-end digital products powered by cloud services and automated CI/CD pipelines.
What You’ll Be Doing- Designing and building scalable, reliable software solutions from scratch
- Working across both front-end and back-end development
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products
- Exploring new technologies and contributing ideas in a fast-moving, informal environment
- Supporting best practices around documentation, testing, and system design
- A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience; advanced degrees considered)
- Strong experience in both front-end and back-end development
- Hands-on experience building and supporting web applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, Svelte, or Vue
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, R, Java, PHP)
- Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and building interactive dashboards
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EC2, Glue, and API Gateway
- A mindset for designing systems that are reliable, scalable, performant, and testable
This is a contract role offering a competitive daily rate inside IR35. You will be required to attend the office 3 days per week. You must be located in the UK and have either citizenship or ILR to be eligible for this role.
