Delivery Manager (Reference Data/GoldenSource)

One of our clients - a leading investment bank - is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead a major upgrade of its Reference Data platform.
This role will focus on delivering a strategic GoldenSource transformation programme, supporting key data domains including instruments, issuers, ratings, and legal agreements. You'll work closely with business, technology, data, and vendor teams to ensure successful delivery from planning through to BAU handover.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a GoldenSource/reference data platform upgrade
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones
- Coordinate business, technology, data, and vendor teams
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
- Oversee system upgrade, testing, and data migration activities
- Drive UAT, defect management, and production readiness
- Support change management, training, and user adoption initiatives
- Ensure successful transition into BAU support teams
Key Skills:
- Experience delivering Reference Data or Data Management projects within financial services
- Background as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Business Analyst
- Understanding of reference data domains and financial products
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of investment banking, capital markets, or asset management environments
Experience:
- GoldenSource experience desirable
- Reference Data platform upgrades or migration programmes
- Data migration, data governance, and data quality initiatives
- UAT management, test scripting, and execution
- Vendor and third-party delivery management
- Banking or financial services environments
