We’re partnering with a highly successful pharmaceutical organisation investing heavily in its cloud and data platforms to support critical scientific and R&D initiatives. They’re looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to help build and scale secure, reliable cloud infrastructure and data services used by scientists, engineers, and data teams across the business. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving, agile environment, focused on building meaningful platforms rather than generic cloud migration work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and building scalable cloud infrastructure to support large, complex datasets
- Driving best practice across CI/CD, automation, testing, and tooling
- Developing and supporting batch and streaming data processing solutions
- Working closely with scientists, data engineers, and software engineers to enable data-driven products
- Deploying and maintaining Infrastructure as Code across cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Good working knowledge of SQL and data platforms
- Experience with containerisation (Docker or similar)
- Exposure to DevOps, DataOps, and Agile ways of working
- Prior experience within pharma, biotech, or life sciences
