We are seeking a hands-on Surveillance Analyst to join a leading international electronic trading firm for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will focus on alert disposition and case management across RFQ (US) and CLOB (EU), with exposure to Fixed Income, equity derivatives, and repos.

This is not just a BAU alerting role – you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, support alert calibration, enhance MI and dashboards, and engage with stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, and Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily review and escalation of surveillance alerts (SMARTS)
  • Case management through to regulatory submission
  • Support alert optimisation and calibration
  • Contribute to dashboards and management information (Tableau)
  • Provide constructive feedback on surveillance processes
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong SMARTS alert disposition experience
  • Fixed Income knowledge (bonds, credit and interest rate derivatives)
  • Understanding of market abuse typologies and regulatory frameworks
  • Confident stakeholder engagement, both verbal and written
  • Tableau experience beneficial; Python/SQL advantageous but not essential
Contract & Day Rate:
  • 6-month
  • London-based (UK hours)
  • Day rate: £350–£450/day
