VP Business Analyst – Market Risk, FRTB, SQL, Python, Confluence, JIRA, Test Design

I am seeking a Business Analyst to join my client who is a leading bank based in London. This role sits within the risk area and specifically Market Risk so you must have recent experience in this area and ideally have strong knowledge of FRTB. The team is looking for someone who leans heavily on the BA side rather than the requirement to be strong technically although some SQL and Python knowledge would be useful.

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and align requirements across teams.
• Produce clear and detailed functional and interface specifications to support effective solution delivery.
• Review and contribute to high-quality business requirements documentation, ensuring consistency and completeness.
• Promote best practices in acceptance, regression, and automated testing to enhance product quality.
• Support user acceptance testing through manual testing, defect triage, and cross-team coordination.
• Provide third-line production support, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of systems.

This is a full time role offering a salary or up to £95k plus a good bonus and benefits package. You will also be required to work onsite in London 2 days per week.
