I am working with a leading consultancy who is seeking a SCADA Test Engineer to be deployed at their client based in Warwick. Your main focus will be to ensure complete test coverage through testing of the design and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate tests against functional designs to ensure full coverage, while tracking test progress in JIRA/XRAY.
- Work closely with Scrum teams (POs, SMEs, Business Testers) to gather and clarify user stories, ensuring third-party testing aligns with client requirements.
- Identify and manage testing risks and issues, driving action plans and leading defect triage with key stakeholders.
- Ensure testing processes are standardized, leveraging central tools and adhering to established strategies and test plans.
Key Skills:
- Experience with SCADA systems in Electricity Transmission (OSI Monarch or similar), and at least one project focused on SCADA testing for Power Utilities.
- Knowledge of integration Middleware (eg, Oracle MFT, Mulesoft APIs) and industry standards (IEC101, IEC104, IEC 61850, IEEE).
- Strong background in Agile methodologies, with expertise in test management tools like JIRA and HP-ALM.
- Experience with Power Utility Transmission Networks, including alarm/work pack management, and SIT, SAT, and FAT testing.
- Proficient in test design, documentation, and defect management.
This is a full-time role offering a salary of up to £60k plus a bonus. You will be required to go into the office in Warwick 5 days a week.
