A highly successful UK-based organisation is undertaking a significant phase of enterprise-wide digital transformation and is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead this journey. This is a confidential senior appointment for a technology leader who can define, own, and deliver a modern IT and digital strategy aligned to long-term growth, operational excellence, and resilience.
The Role
- Set and execute a forward-looking IT and digital transformation roadmap
- Lead the modernisation of systems, platforms, and infrastructure to enable scale
- Drive improvements in cyber security, governance, and risk management
- Oversee internal IT capability and strategic third-party suppliers
- Embed digital thinking across the organisation, improving efficiency and data-driven decision making
- Act as a senior advisor at executive level, translating strategic objectives into technology outcomes
The Individual
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role within a complex or growing organisation
- A demonstrable track record of delivering meaningful digital and technology transformation
- Broad technical and architectural understanding across cloud, applications, infrastructure, and security
- Experience operating within regulated, compliance-led, or mission-critical environments
