Integration Engineer / Grid Systems Integrator (EMS/DMS | SCADA | Utility Interfaces)

Role Overview

We are hiring experienced Integration Engineers / Grid Systems Integrators to support major initiatives across Electrical Transmission & Distribution and critical national infrastructure . This role focuses on building and maintaining system interfaces, middleware components, and real‑time integrations for EMS, DMS, SCADA, and other operational systems. The client is open to offering a higher salary for candidates with proven expertise in Power Grid systems. Candidates must come from the Power Grid Utilities domain (electricity only).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain interfaces, adapters, and integration services across EMS, DMS, SCADA, and other real‑time systems.
Work with Apache technologies including Geronimo, Tomcat, Camel, ServiceMix, Axis/Axis2 .
Build integrations using ESB/IBUS platforms such as Tibco and WebSphere.
Implement automation and custom scripting using Java, C++, C, and KSH .
Ensure integrations run reliably across Linux and Windows environments.
Support full testing cycles: interface testing, test scripting, FAT/SAT, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
Partner with EMS/DMS/SCADA engineering teams to maintain reliable data flows supporting grid operations.

Required Experience & Skills

Strong recent experience in Java and C++ .
Hands‑on experience with Apache stack (Geronimo, Tomcat, Camel, ServiceMix, Axis).
Integration experience with Tibco , WebSphere , or similar ESB/IBUS tools.
Additional scripting/coding in C and KSH .
Proficiency with SQL and/or Oracle databases.
Background working with EMS, DMS, or SCADA systems in transmission or distribution.
Experience specifically in Power Grid Utilities (not water utilities).
Comfortable working across Linux and Windows operating environments.
Ability to contribute within mission‑critical, regulated, real‑time systems.
