Nicol of Skene Ltd is seeking a practical, dependable, and hands-on Yard and Maintenance Worker to join our team. This is a varied and rewarding, full-time role responsible for maintaining the high standards of our grounds, gardens, and general facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Grounds & Garden Maintenance: Grass cutting, hedge and tree trimming across extensive landscaped areas. Ensuring all gardens and outdoor spaces are kept tidy and presentable year-round.
- Concrete Plant Operation: Responsible for the safe use of the on-site concrete batching plant.
- General Maintenance & DIY: Painting, fence repair, general upkeep of company buildings. Carrying out maintenance tasks as needed, proactively or as instructed.
- Yard & Vehicle Duties: Good housekeeping across the yard, plant, and company vehicles. Assisting with the loading/unloading of vehicles, plant, tools, and materials.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Participate in and actively promote a safe working environment. Support internal and external audits as needed.
