The Headteacher and Governors of Nicol Mere Primary School wish to appoint an experienced and effective classroom practitioner to join our team. This temporary post has arisen due to the promotion of our current Year 5 teacher and will be for two terms.
We are looking for a teacher who is committed to achieving the best outcomes for all children and who shares our high expectations, values and vision for the school.

You will need to be:
- An excellent classroom practitioner with experience of teaching in Upper Key Stage 2.
- Passionate about teaching and learning.

- Able to work effectively with colleagues and communicate positively with parents, carers and other professionals.
- Committed to securing the best possible outcomes for all children.
- Knowledgeable about SEND and able to adapt teaching to meet pupils' needs.
- Well organised, flexible and reliable.
- A strong team player who values collaborative working.
- Willing to contribute fully to the wider life of the school.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The interview process will consist of a teaching observation at Nicol Mere Primary (Tuesday 17th November) followed by an interview (Wednesday 18th November).
All candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to meet and maintain all Professional Standards for Teachers.
