We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our growing London-based hedge fund, specialising in digital assets. With five years of exceptional performance, a robust team, and a strong reputation in the industry, we are looking for a leader to drive operational excellence and support the next phase of our growth. About Us: A highly successful hedge fund trading digital assets. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Operates a multi-manager model with cutting-edge trading strategies. Culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance. Key Responsibilities: As COO, you will report directly to the founding partners and oversee all operational aspects of the fund, ensuring alignment with our strategic vision. Your responsibilities will include: Operational Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to support business growth. Oversee trading operations, fund accounting, operational risk management, and compliance infrastructure. Manage relationships with key service providers. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with FCA and NFA regulations and manage relationships with regulators. Lead audits and ensure adherence to global best practices. Team and Culture: Manage and mentor middle office, legal and finance teams, fostering a high-performance culture. Collaborate with trading teams to streamline processes. Technology and Innovation: Drive technological enhancements to support trading and operational efficiency. Understand and develop the firm’s custody and payment structures. Oversee cybersecurity and data protection initiatives. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial planning, and reporting. Optimize operational costs while maintaining service excellence. Qualifications and Experience: 10+ years of experience in leadership roles within financial services, hedge funds, or trading firms. Deep understanding of hedge fund operations, particularly multi-manager models. Proven track record of managing operational risk, compliance, and regulatory processes. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Knowledge of digital assets and cryptocurrency markets a plus.
