As part of our growth in the UK, we are looking to bring on board reliable, dedicated Contract Delivery Drivers who will help us deliver our outstanding products directly to our customers’ homes. We are seeking contractor drivers in the UK that own their own truck to deliver a premium delivery service to our customers. As the face of Nick Scali, we are looking for professional delivery teams who want to be a part of the Nick Scali delivery network and are driven by success. Responsibilities Safely transport and deliver furniture to customers’ homes, ensuring that all items are handled with care and attention. Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to customers, enhancing their experience with Nick Scali during each delivery. Efficiently load and unload furniture from the delivery vehicle, ensuring safe and secure transport. Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely deliveries while minimizing delays. Adhere to UK health and safety regulations, ensuring safe handling and delivery of all products. Complete delivery paperwork, including customer signatures and proof of delivery, maintaining accurate records. Requirements Must hold a current, full, and valid UK driving licence Truck Specifications: -Must have access to a Pantech truck, preferably with a tailgate. -Applicants with a 7.5-tonne truck are preferred; however, we are also open to speaking with operators who have a 3.5-tonne truck . -If you hold a 3.5-tonne licence, you must be willing to consider obtaining an operator’s licence for a 7.5-tonne truck. Previous experience in a delivery, logistics, or customer-facing role is highly desirable, particularly within furniture or homeware. Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy furniture items, with assistance where necessary. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-first attitude. Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
