Interim Assistant Accountant

£35,000 – £40,000 p.a.

12 month fixed-term contract

We are working with a leading company based in London who are part of a larger, growing group of companies operating in the real estate sector.

They are seeking to recruit an accounts assistant with min. 2-3 years\’ experience in accounting to work in a team of ten, reporting to the finance manager.

This a one year fixed-term contract maternity cover position.

Main responsibilities

• Fixed Assets
• VAT / HMRC returns
• Purchase Ledger invoicing and payments
• Bank reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc project work

Your background

• Min. 2 years\’ experience as an accounts assistant
• Min. 5 GCSE\’s grade A-C
• \’Can do\’ attitude and wants to learn and progress
• Works well in a team, supporting others
• AAT studier (not essential)
• Able to start a new position early Dec 2025
