What you'll do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketplace strategies to drive growth in sales and market share across Amazon and other third-party platforms.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats in the e-commerce landscape.
  • Optimize product listings by enhancing titles, descriptions, and images to improve visibility and conversion rates on Amazon and other marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and logistics, to ensure alignment on product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketplace strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply-chain teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and minimize stockouts.
  • Develop and oversee advertising campaigns on Amazon, including Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, to maximize ROI and brand visibility.
  • Foster relationships with Amazon account managers and other marketplace representatives to stay informed about platform updates and best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance customer experience, including managing reviews and feedback to maintain a positive brand reputation.
  • Stay updated on e-commerce trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies that could impact marketplace performance.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on marketplace best practices and strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on marketplace performance, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, specifically with a focus on Amazon and third-party marketplaces.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing marketplace accounts and driving sales growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Familiarity with marketplace tools and software, including Amazon Seller Central and analytics platforms.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, and social media strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
