An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Trainee Fencer to join our Nicholsons Forestry team. This is a fantastic chance for someone eager to begin their journey in the Forestry industry. You’ll be working hands-on in beautiful outdoor environments, learning practical skills from an experienced team and building a strong foundation for a long-term career. In this role, you will:
- Support our busy and friendly forestry department in all aspects of commercial fencing and forest management.
- Develop new skills and learn what it takes to keep our forests productive and healthy through the implementation of fencing.
- Work in wide ranging woodlands, commercial forest stands, large country estates, farmland and occasional domestic settings.
- Engage in active, hands-on work.
Key responsibilities:
- To learn and develop your skills, knowledge and understanding from more experienced members of the team.
- Undertake fencing operations safely and efficiently.
