Horticultural Café Assistant

Rosara at Nicholsons are looking for a friendly and approachable individual to support the team in both our Tiny Café and our Plant Centre.

Key responsibilities:

• Serving a range of hot and cold drinks and cold bites
• Processing all transactions through the till system
• Setting up and clearing down and keeping the café area clean and tidy at all times
• Helping with tasks in our Plant Centre as required
• Including plant moving, weeding, watering, pruning, stocktaking, cleaning, helping with displays etc

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a \’can do\’ attitude
• Have excellent spoken English
• Have a friendly and approachable manner
• Be confident, public facing and able to take initiative
• Prepared to work in all weather

Desirable:

• Previous hospitality experience
• Barista & food handling training

Your own transport is essential due to our remote location.

This position is 5 days per week including Saturdays, 9.30am to 4.30pm. This may include some holiday cover when required, as well as occasional support with evening events.
