We are seeking a hardworking, energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our Garden Management Team on a part-time basis, working on a commercial contract in the North Oxfordshire area. You will work as part of a team to maintain the appearance, safety, and overall presentation of commercial outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities include ensuring lawns, landscaped areas, parking facilities, and external areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained, creating a positive impression for clients, tenants, and visitors.
- Perform routine lawn care including mowing, edging and strimming
- Maintain landscape areas including planting, pruning, gravel raking, mulching, and watering
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters
- Apply pesticides and herbicides in accordance with safety regulations (if certified)
- Enjoy undertaking routine and repetitive tasks to ensure standards are maintained throughout the site
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a keen interest in the outdoors
- Have some previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience
- Have some knowledge of plants and seasonal care practices
- Be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have strong attention to detail
- Have a full, clean UK drivers licence
Desirable:
- Horticultural experience & understanding
- Any valid external training certificates for example PA1/6/9 or chainsaw
A full UK drivers licence is required for this role due to the location of our clients.
This position is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 11.30am. Saturday hours may be available too.
