We are seeking a hardworking, energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our Garden Management Team working on our commercial contracts. You will work as part of a team to maintain the appearance, safety, and overall presentation of commercial outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities include ensuring lawns, landscaped areas, parking facilities, and external areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained, creating a positive impression for clients, tenants, and visitors.
Key responsibilities:- Perform routine lawn care including mowing, edging and strimming
- Maintain landscape areas including planting, pruning, gravel raking, mulching, and watering
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters
- Apply pesticides and herbicides in accordance with safety regulations (if certified)
- Enjoy undertaking routine and repetitive tasks to ensure standards are maintained throughout the site
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a keen interest in the outdoors
- Have some previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience
- Have some knowledge of plants and seasonal care practices
- Be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have strong attention to detail
- Have a full, clean UK drivers licence
Desirable:
- Horticultural experience & understanding
- Any valid external training certificates for example PA1/6/9 or chainsaw
A full UK drivers licence is required for this role due to the location of our clients.
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm. Part-time and Saturday hours may be available too.
