An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Forester to join our Nicholsons Forestry team. We are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys a hands-on, physical role, whilst working in beautiful outdoor environments and learning practical skills from an experienced team. If you’re enthusiastic, hardworking and eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planting
  • Brush cutting
  • Chainsaw work
  • Vegetation management
  • General woodland maintenance

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a keen interest in the outdoors
  • Be able to work effectively & efficiently
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be willing to work in all weathers
  • Remain professional at all times

Desirable but not required:

  • Able to demonstrate practical experience in woodland operations
  • Any relevant technical competencies

A full UK drivers licence is required for this role due to the remote location of our projects.
