With the opening of our new Green Room Café, we’re looking for a part-time Barista/Front of House Team Member to help deliver a welcoming guest experience and keep day-to-day service running smoothly, with high standards of food, drink and cleanliness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver friendly, efficient service by welcoming guests, taking orders, knowing the menu and making helpful recommendations.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other drinks to brand standards.
- Prepare simple food items (e.g., sandwiches and salads) and support basic kitchen prep as needed.
- Run food and drinks, clear and reset tables promptly, and keep the front-of-house area tidy during service.
- Maintain excellent hygiene standards, including cleaning duties (café and toilets), in line with the rota and food safety procedures.
- Support stock checks, replenishment and ordering, and help with opening and closing tasks.
- Work well as part of a team and independently, communicating clearly and escalating issues to a manager when needed.
Desirable requirements:
- Ideally be barista trained (or keen to learn).
- Have enthusiasm and a genuine interest in hospitality and food.
- Be welcoming, friendly and helpful.
- Be able to drive, due to the remote location of our business.
This is a part-time role (3 days per week: Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays), with the potential for more hours in time. Typical working hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm with an unpaid break. Full training will be provided.
