We are looking for an Assistant Woodland Manager to join our Woodland Management division in our Oxfordshire office. You will be welcomed into a friendly team of Woodland Managers with a wide breadth of experience and specialist interests. There is ample opportunity for you to learn and develop your skills and experience by contributing to the team and supporting a highly varied and interesting client base. Working alongside the Woodland Management team, you will be helping to facilitate a successful forestry enterprise for our clients.
Key responsibilities:
- To quote and execute appropriate contract works as directed by Woodland Managers
- Helping to manage some of the finest lowland forestry estates in the country
- To assist in new business development
- Assessing, pricing, planning and executing forestry operations and management services, under the guidance of the forestry management team.
- Helping prepare woodland management plans, budgets and grant applications.

Desirable:
- A degree in forestry / land management or related field such as geography, ecology or conservation.
- Theoretical knowledge of silviculture
- Experience with GIS

A full, clean UK drivers licence is required for this role. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
