The Nicholsons Forestry Department is seeking to recruit a keen and knowledgeable individual to take a lead role in the costing, planning, and management of Arboricultural Contracting activities.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Have significant experience in the arboriculture sector
- An ability to lead a team proactively
- Communicate effectively with clients (from quoting, organising logistics of day-to-day arboricultural activity both within the company, onsite and with third parties) and in a timely, efficient manner providing an all-round quality service.
- Be organised and methodical.
- Maintain professionalism throughout all work.
- Be aware of and able to uphold and work safely in accordance with H&S, LOLER and PUWER procedures.
This role will also involve working closely with the Arboricultural Services Manager, to develop Nicholsons’ Arboricultural business.
Essential Requirements
- A full UK driving licence (trailer certification preferable).
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in arboriculture.
- Associated NPTC certification.
- Evidence of continued CPD and good computer skills (Arb-pro system used).
Desirable Requirements
- Lantra PTI qualification.
We have Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor status, and the role would require such quality and service to be maintained and developed.
