Delivery Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the successful end-to-end delivery of complex client implementation projects for global financial institutions, including large investment banks. This role sits at the intersection of project delivery, client management, operational excellence, and team leadership.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, while also helping to scale and mature the Delivery function through process improvement and operational standardisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project & Delivery Management
  • Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for client implementation projects, from initiation through to go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Manage projects with large enterprise and investment banking clients.
  • Define project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure delivery commitments are met while proactively managing scope, risks, issues, and escalations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Success.
  • Lead governance meetings, status updates, steering committees, and executive stakeholder communications.
  • Drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders across business, operations, and technology teams.• Act as the primary point of contact for delivery-related activities during implementations.
  • Manage expectations effectively and provide clear communication on progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support clients through onboarding, implementation, testing, operational readiness, and transition to BAU support.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
  • Contribute to scaling and maturing the Delivery function as the business grows.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardise, and automate delivery processes and operational procedures.
  • Develop and maintain implementation frameworks, governance standards, reporting structures, and best practices.
  • Help establish scalable delivery methodologies suitable for enterprise fintech clients.
  • People Management & Leadership
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and day-to-day management for Delivery or

Operations team members.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance development within the team.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
  • Act as a role model for delivery excellence and client-centric execution.
  • Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Delivery, Operations, Project Management, or

Implementation Management roles.

  • Experience delivering complex client implementations within fintech, financial services, Saa S, or enterprise technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of working with large financial institutions and investment banking clients.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving delivery accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience improving operational processes and implementing scalable ways of working.
  • Previous people management or team leadership experience.
  • Comfortable operating in high-growth and evolving environments.
