Due to the expansion of their dedicated manufacturing excellence team, a rare opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Lean Facilitator, who will champion Lean methodology and improvement initiatives on site, improving efficiency and removing waste to support significant and ongoing double digit site growth.
Key skills:
- Previous experience as a Lean Engineer, Lean Facilitator, Continuous Improvement Engineer, or Change Agent, driving Lean initiatives in a manufacturing setting, using data to identify, plan and execute improvement projects using a range of Lean, Kaizen and problem‑solving tools.
- Strong expertise specifically in SMED, OEE, 5S and 8 wastes, practically applying these tools to bring about sustained change, demonstrating relevant and quantifiable operational wins.
- IT and data literate and able to use engineering software to gather and analyse data (OEE).
- Sound problem solving skills, root cause analysis, Pareto analysis techniques.
- Able to foster close collaboration with production, quality, maintenance and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and effective project implementation.
- An engaging and inspiring Lean facilitator who is passionate about facilitating change, believes that people are the number one business asset, and who will develop thorough knowledge and understanding in others through effective training and coaching to influence culture change and will hearts and minds.
