A rare opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Project Engineer, working on a range of capital and plant improvement projects – from project development to execution managing the full life cycle including project evaluation and justification, contractor management and group reporting on all site current and pipeline projects.
You will work closely with departments across the site, to include process engineering, maintenance and purchasing, working as a team to ultimately improve site efficiency and capability.
Key skills:
- Experience as a project engineer in a manufacturing setting with a breadth of experience covering production, maintenance and facilities related projects
- BEng/BSc or equivalent in an engineering or technical discipline – mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering all considered
- Experience coordinating civil, structural, mechanical, process development and materials handling projects (or a selection of)
- Familiarity with 3D CAD packages
- Experienced in contractor selection, liaison and management, including permits to work
- Sound problem solving skills, root cause analysis, Pareto analysis techniques
- Able to effectively and successfully engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers covering a variety of specialisms
- Great prioritisation skills, methodical, logical and well organised, able to adapt to changing circumstances, and really thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player who enjoys working with others in a supportive and close-knit team
