Fylde Nicholson Hird Ltd is working in retained partnership with a long established FMCG manufacturer in the recruitment of an accomplished Maintenance Manager to lead, develop and motivate a dynamic team of multiskilled engineers as this site goes through significant change and the implementation of a computerised maintenance management system.
The Maintenance Manager will support heavily on the implementation and optimisation of the CMMS, driving a sustainable preventative maintenance programme, and working closely with the Engineering Manager and team supervisors to further develop data driven approaches to reliability improvements.
They will work to further develop their maintenance team, identifying skills gaps, ensuring training needs are met, and planning for succession as this site grows. They will also support on site projects as this business goes through significant capital investment.
Key skills:
- Qualified Engineer - mechanical or electrical engineering
- Previous experience in a Maintenance leadership role, in food or beverage manufacturing
- Ideally Level 5 equivalent in leadership, or willing to train to this level if not
- Experienced with CMMS, any exposure to managing a CMMS implementation is advantageous
