We are delighted to represent a multinational manufacturing organisation in their appointment of an Engineering Manager effectively leading a team of design engineers to deliver bespoke projects to a range of prestigious clients. This business offers complex engineering solutions to several sectors notably oil and gas, marine, nuclear and aerospace. The role holder will take a lead role in the Projects division, ultimately accountable for engineering milestones, planning, monitoring and ensuring delivery of design activities through effective technical leadership and direction of a dynamic design team, checking and validating work throughout the product life cycle, and promoting a culture of high performance, innovation and pride.
This work will involve the consistent application of a range of best practice tools to each process, including PFMEA, DFM, tolerance design, DFSS, robust methods for change management.
Working closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Operations and Quality to ensure the most efficient delivery against key KPIs: safety, quality, cost, OTIF.
