We are representing a hugely innovative manufacturing organisation who are at the forefront of their specialist field, whilst continuing their growth through the diversification into other markets. Established 30+ years, they are stable and not afraid to invest, and design and manufacture an award-winning range of products at their sites in East Lancashire.
With a strong pipeline of new products, managing various process development projects and growing aggressively through acquisition, they seek to recruit an innovative manufacturing engineer to focus on new product introduction and continuous improvement.
We seek the following:
- HNC/HND/Degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- Proven experience in a manufacturing engineer, production engineer, project engineer or continuous improvement engineer in an assembly biased manufacturing environment
- Experience managing capex projects, from cradle to grave, working with external suppliers.
- DFM/DFA/FMEA
- Skilled in using AutoCAD for the design of process layouts
- Strong knowledge of world class manufacturing techniques (Lean Six Sigma) and will engineer processes with value added activity and waste reduction in mind
