We proudly represent a prestigious, multinational manufacturing organisation in their appointment of a Human Resources Generalist. The HR Generalist will offer advice, information and support, covering all manner of HR accountabilities including employee and industrial relations, talent management and succession planning, culture change, recruitment and selection, and site communication and engagement in a well-structured and well-supported HR setting. There will also be involvement in the management and development of HR systems on site, and this role will support a centralised payroll function with ensuring accurate reporting of site information.
Key skills:
- Proven track record in similar HR Generalist or HR Advisor role in an industrial manufacturing or engineering-based setting
- CIPD accreditation Level 5 preferred (or working towards)
- Knowledge of UK employment law and its application, able to act as a confident and decisive subject matter expert in this field
- Proactive, analytical and logical problem solver
- An energetic change agent, resilient and always keen to challenge the status quo and drive improvements to progress and refine the people agenda
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy and happy to work with data
- Ideally open to travel infrequently to other Group sites in the UK for best practice sharing and knowledge transfer
