A growing manufacturer based in East Lancashire with a strong project pipeline seeks to recruit an accomplished manufacturing engineer to work on a range of projects concerning new product introduction, process development, plant layout and refurb, and continuous improvement offering the right person huge variety and technical challenge!
An innovative manufacturing organisation that has grown rapidly through acquisition, they have a range of ongoing investments into R&D as well as the improvement of facilities for existing product lines. Very well established and offering great opportunity for learning new technologies, formal training and career development.
We seek the following:
- HNC/HND/Degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- Proven experience in a manufacturing engineer, production engineer, project engineer or continuous improvement engineer in an assembly biased manufacturing environment
- Experience managing capex projects, from cradle to grave, working with external suppliers.
- DFM/DFA/FMEA
- Skilled in using AutoCAD for the design of process layouts
- Knowledge of world class manufacturing techniques (Lean Six Sigma)
We seek an experienced manufacturing engineer, who can work in a structured and methodical fashion with little supervision, working to a gated process to project deadlines, as part of a dynamic and sociable team. This is a permanent role offering longevity and career opportunities as this business grows to a multisite specialist in its field. Some travel between two sites in East Lancashire will be required.
