Our client is a fast-growing, specialist market intelligence firm dedicated to the healthcare technology sector. They work with some of the biggest names in global healthtech, as well as leading organisations in big tech, finance, and venture capital. They've doubled their headcount in the last two years and are continuing to grow.

The Role

This is a senior individual contributor position within an expanding Primary Research practice, offering real scope to shape how the team operates. You'll take end-to-end ownership of primary research projects — spanning both multiclient programmes focused on areas such as AI in Medical Imaging, Imaging IT, and Device Interoperability, as well as bespoke custom client engagements. This means:

  • Designing high-quality research instruments — surveys, interview guides, discussion frameworks
  • Leading in-depth interviews and moderating focus groups with healthcare technology buyers, C-suite executives, and decision-makers across global markets
  • Synthesising quantitative and qualitative findings into clear, evidence-based insight
  • Delivering compelling presentations to senior client stakeholders
  • Contributing to research methodology and mentoring junior analysts
  • Building and maintaining a trusted network of research partners and respondent panels globally

What They're Looking For

  • Degree in a relevant field (Informatics, Business, Statistics, Economics, Health/Medical, Social Sciences or equivalent)
  • 2–5 years' experience in a primary research or insight role — agency or in-house
  • Strong expertise across both qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Genuine curiosity about healthcare technology markets
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a drive to understand the 'why' behind the data

Experience in healthcare technology is strongly preferred. Candidates from adjacent markets — IT, medical devices, life sciences, cloud — who can demonstrate transferable skills and genuine interest in healthcare will also be considered.

The Package

  • £36,000–£50,000 (dependent on experience)
  • 27 days holiday + bank holidays + option to buy more
  • Health cash plan (includes 24/7 virtual GP, counselling, gym discounts)
  • Hybrid working — primarily Cranfield office (min. 3 days/week), with genuine flexibility
  • Personalised bonus scheme
  • Life insurance (3x salary)
  • Structured mentorship, training & clear career progression
  • Paid volunteer time off
  • Friendly, collaborative, inclusive team culture

Why This Role?

This is a profitable, fast-growing business where individual contributions have real impact. The team culture is built around quality, integrity, and genuine work-life balance — with transparent management and strong employee satisfaction.
