About the Opportunity
This role is responsible for leading shopper marketing activation across a portfolio of retail and wholesale customers. Working closely with key customers and internal stakeholders, the role brings our brand and marketing plans to life both in-store and online.
A core focus of the role is to interrupt, engage, and inspire shoppers throughout the path to purchase by planning and delivering best-in-class shopper activations across multiple routes to market. The role will work cross-functionally to ensure our brands stand out and convert at the moment of truth.
The role will also support the Shopper Marketing Lead in delivering the broader shopper marketing strategy by owning key projects, driving NPI shopper plans, and managing day-to-day agency relationships.
The Role Will Include
- Lead, manage and execute shopper marketing activation across designated retail and wholesale accounts.
- Act as the day-to-day customer contact for activation delivery, including retail media bookings, campaign briefing, and artwork approvals.
- Build and manage customer-specific Shopper Marketing Account Plans aligned with brand and channel strategies.
- Own the shopper marketing workstream for designated NPI projects, ensuring timely and effective launch execution.
- Evaluate all activations, reporting ROI, insights, and recommendations to continuously improve performance.
- Lead the rollout and ongoing management of the Van Sales shopper marketing plan.
- Manage customer-specific shopper marketing budgets, ensuring investment is effective, efficient, and aligned with objectives.
- Collaborate with print suppliers, retail media partners, creative agencies, and internal design teams to deliver activation.
- Manage shopper marketing agencies and internal creatives from brief through to execution.
- Provide administrative support including raising and managing purchase orders and maintaining campaign documentation.
What You Will Bring
- Previous experience in a shopper marketing, customer marketing or brand marketing role within FMCG or a complementary sector.
- Experience managing customer-facing activation and working cross-functionally with sales teams and external partners.
- Experience managing agencies, budgets and multiple overlapping projects.
- You’ll be digitally savvy with digital and online activation experience, including the use of AI tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Accountability and personal responsibility for delivering results.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- You’ll be a collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments.
