A financial services firm is looking for a hybrid-based Infrastructure Engineer; 1-2 days a week in the Kent office and the rest remote working. The role will focus on maintaining the firm’s current hybrid cloud infrastructure estate for a demanding business environment. You will operate within the IT Operations function, providing 3rd line support across a broad range of infrastructure platforms.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the existing hybrid cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms.
- Provide 3rd line technical support in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with IT Operations to ensure stability, performance, and security of infrastructure services.
Essential skills
- Strong expertise in Windows Server and Desktop platforms
- Experience scripting in PowerShell or similar
- Experience with VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN)
- Microsoft Exchange (2016/2019 Hybrid), Office 365
- Worked with Dell Servers & Blade hardware (Dell OME, iDRAC)
- NetApp SAN storage or similar
- Backup Management
