Asset Management Internship β Mobile Home Parks (Auburn, AL)
Location: Auburn, AL (Local travel required)
Type: Part-time Internship
Schedule: Flexible (Approx. 10 hours/week)

Position Overview:
This is a hands-on internship offering exposure to real estate investment, property operations, and financial tracking. You will act as the local liaison between physical properties, our remote property management company, and contractors. Responsibilities include tracking income and expenses via QuickBooks. This is not just a summer internship; we seek someone for the foreseeable future. The role involves site visits to properties in Opelika, Salem, Tallassee, Sylacauga, Alexander City, and Wetumpka, with an expected 2-3 visits per month, each around 3 hours of driving and 5 hours on-site. Fuel and vehicle maintenance costs are covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in weekly/monthly calls with the property manager
- Conduct 2β3 site visits per month to assess property conditions, post notices, track vacant units, photograph properties, suggest improvements, and identify issues
- Assist in tracking and categorizing financial data using QuickBooks
- Provide insights on operational or financial improvements
- Communicate weekly with ownership/management and provide updates
Qualifications:
- Current Auburn University student (preferably in business, finance, real estate, or accounting)
- Strong interest in real estate, investing, or operations
- Reliable transportation for site visits
- Experience with or willingness to learn QuickBooks
- Self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable communicating with tenants
