Description

Copperhead is seeking a Program Manager for the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon Fire Project for a potential contract to support disaster relief.

The PM’s role is to support the successful implementation and execution of Copperhead’s subcontract supporting the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyons Claims Processing. This role will be in support with the overall Command Holdings strategy and goals set forth by leadership. The Program Manager’s responsibilities include program management and oversight of the project and deliverables for the assigned subcontract. The Program Manager’s duties require coordination with key senior client leaders and task leads; oversight of the day-to-day security, operations, travel and communications, to ensure the highest quality service to the customer and our prime contractor.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Contract Management

  • Overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts within an organization.
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Managing relationships and mitigating risks.
  • Ensuring proper execution of contracts and adherence to legal requirements.

Leadership

  • Mentor, coach, and support team members to grow professionally.

People Management

  • Leading, training, developing, motivating, and day-to-day management of employees to support the overall goals and mission of the organization.

Finance

  • Develop, manage, and monitor budgets to ensure financial health and alignment with goals.

This position is contingent on contract award.

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 7 or more years of experience supporting the federal government.
  • Minimum 10 years of program management for large-scale contracts.
  • 5 or more years of experience successfully leading and managing teams.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in contract management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, be innovative, be welcoming to change, and be proactive and self-motivated.
  • Ability to cultivate and build relationships across the government and related industry partners.
  • Proven ability to work with difficult customers, diverse stakeholders and team members.
  • Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with staff and partners.
  • A goal-oriented, driven individual with a superior ability to execute and sustain a high sense of urgency.
  • Well organized with good project execution skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
  • Must be able to obtain DHS suitability.
